Especially interested in: In general, femslash is my happy place! I love helping out with details about food or textiles/clothing, or helping provide visual examples that can be used as references.

For the Old Guard, I would particularly like to focus on fanworks involving Nile, Andy, Quynh, or Lykon, but will also focus on other characters. For either Critical Role or Locked Tomb, I’m willing to apply speculative research about the systems of magic involved in either world.

Unwilling to address: Graphic violence (including whump) or fics involving major archive warnings will be considered at my discretion.

Any research on medical topics (including those related to mental health) come with the disclaimer that I am not a medical professional, will defer to experts, and will point to high-quality resources to the best of my ability!

My annotated bibliography or writeup will take a “Topic - what it means - why it matters” format, and resources will be linked together under the relevant topic (ie; I’ll draw from multiple resources in my write-up for each topic as necessary). When we make contact about your bid, I’ll ask you for details about your fanwork and what your information needs are to ensure I can find what you’re looking for!

I will point to freely available or open resources; I will not provide full-text of paywalled articles or other materials, but am willing to discuss with my bidder the best ways to access any resources that aren’t freely available or open (ie: libraries or digital versions) in addition to summarizing from materials I myself can access. Fandom-related research is very enjoyable to me and I would love to help you out.

I assume your finished work will be 5000 words long or longer. My finished writeup will vary in length depending on the complexity, but you can expect 3 or more pages. I’m a librarian by training with special expertise in finding open access / openly available materials (including academic sources!) and would love to help you do research for your fanworks! This can include visual, historical, and other sources that would be useful for your fanwork.

I can create an annotated bibliography (essentially, links or citations for the sources along with a short writeups about their relevance). If desired, I can also skim-read and summarize particularly relevant resources. Finally, I’ll be happy to refer you to other resources (including fannish ones) as appropriate, such as meta write-ups or essays that are specific to the fandom/characters.
