Length/scope:

Especially interested in: I'm interested in magic, animals, woodlands, drama, and friends. I love drawing characters in platonic or romantic relationships, showing the emotion between them. I would be happy to portray personages from myths or fairy tales of all kinds, or your own original character. Tolkienwise, I have an especially strong interest in The Silmarillion these days, but I will also gladly draw characters from The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings (book canon). Also, as an LGBTQIA+ artist, I am always pleased to draw art celebrating the community.

Unwilling to address: No extreme violence or gore, although moderate violence and body horror are fine. No romantic relationships between closely related people (siblings, cousins, etc)—although requests for platonic family pieces are very much wanted and welcome. I am probably not the best person to draw machines, unless the design is very organic. Where Tolkien in particular is concerned, I don't draw characters directly based on the film actors, but if you have particular ideas about a character, I am happy to draw them based on your description.

Notes: I will be creating a piece of traditional artwork (which will be scanned, and sent to you as a high resolution file). You will have your choice—of either three detailed and shaded pencil drawings, or a single painting in ink and watercolor. Each piece of art can contain 1-3 characters. (Choosing something that doesn't directly involve a character is fine, too—for instance, if you'd like a particular landscape.) In the case of original characters, I will need a reference—but it can be either visual or a written description. I will first submit my initial pencil sketch to you for approval, and I can make changes for you at that time.
